Where your layout lives
A layout stays in your browser. When you make a share link, the layout is in that link, so anyone who has the link can open the same layout.
What the planner keeps on your device
The planner saves your last layout and your choice of millimeters or inches in your browser, so they are there when you come back. They are stored on your device only. Clearing the site data in your browser removes them.
What this means for you
Treat a share link as you would the layout itself. Send it only to people you want to see the layout.
